The recently concluded elections in five states have filled the respective assemblies of the state with new faces. While Telangana has all the reasons to be joyous as almost 2/3 of its newly elected MLA regardless their political affiliations are either graduates or above. Madhya Pradesh, on the other hand, should take a note as 1/3 of its MLA are barely school pass outs.

According to The New Indian Express story, out of 119 MLAs elected in Telangana, 43 are graduates, 26 have postgraduate degrees and 2 have PhDs and 27 either have a diploma or have passed intermediate and the rest have got schooling up to 10th.
