Number one contender's match set for next week's AEW Dynamite

The winners from two matches that are scheduled for tonight’s Dynamite will face each other next week in a number one contender’s match for the AEW World title.

PAC vs. Darby Allin and Jon Moxley vs. Sammy Guevara have already been announced for tonight. AEW’s social media today added a new stipulation to those matches. The winners of both matches will face one another next week on the Jericho’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Cruise edition of Dynamite. The winner of that match will become the one contender to the AEW World title.

Moxley and Jericho have had plenty of interactions with one another in the last few weeks. Jericho offered Moxley 49% ownership of the Inner Circle as well as a Ford GT if he were to join the Inner Circle. Last week, it appeared that Moxley had accepted the offer, but then told Jericho he was just kidding. He instead laid out Jericho and took the car keys.

The Bash at the Beach edition of AEW Dynamite will take place tonight at the Watsco Center in Miami, Florida.
