Speculation towards a possible Jon Jones/Brock Lesnar fight has been spreading more and more ever since the fight was first teased after Jones’ victory at UFC 214. As mentioned before, Brock Lesnar is still expected to fulfill his WWE contract, and he also must serve the remainder of his USADA suspension as well. Regardless, it does certainly seem like the fight will be happening sometime next year. Lesnar has allegedly even taken steps to reenter the USADA testing pool very soon. WWE commented on the interaction between Lesnar and Jones recently, and a when a fan asked Jones if he would be attending the SummerSlam show to watch Lesnar, “Bones” responded with the following:

Scott Dawson of The Revival received some bad news when he tore his bicep which may need surgery to repair. It is still unclear how long both he and Dash Wilder are expected to be out for, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that Dawson arrived for TV this past Monday night and was examined by doctors. He should known later on this week if he will be needing surgery or not. Dave Meltzer says that he believes the injury occurred during this past Sunday’s live event. He does not know exactly how it happened, but Meltzer does assume that the injury was a complete accident and “a total fluke.”
Alberto El Patron became one of the most controversial figures in all of wrestling today when he was accused of domestic violence at an Orlando airport earlier this year. Global Force Wrestling took action by suspending Patron indefinitely after the incident. Weeks later, it was determined that Patron’s fiancee Paige was actually the one who should be investigated for the incident, and Patron has since been cleared of any possible charges. Despite this, he still remains suspended by his employer and he even missed their recent live events in New York. PWInsider is now reporting that the plan is to have Patron return to television on the company’s live Destination X special next week.
