— John Cena and his brother, West Newbury police Sgt. Dan Cena, are organizing a muscle car benefit event to help the family of a fallen hero. Firefighter Kenny Fowler died in December 2007. Dan Cena told the Newbury Port News, “Kenny was a friend growing up. Anyone who got into muscle cars in West Newbury got into it because of Kenny.” When John Cena heard about the benefit event, he bought and donated a 2010 Chevy Camaro to be raffled off. The event takes place on Aug. 15 from noon to five at Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, MA. John Cena will be available for autographs from 3 to 5 p.m.

— WWE is using a storyline from the movie Rocky IV for Vladamir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson’s feud on ECW. After a couple weeks of back-and-forth “can you top this” antics, Jackson wrote on Twitter, “I hope everyone watched ECW last night. Zeke vs. Vlad, wowwww.. Clubber Lang vs. Ivan Drago.. anything u can do, I can do better.”

— Ken Anderson is taking full responsibility for the actions that led to his WWE earlier this year. The former Mr Kennedy wrote, “I admit that I just wasn’t media savvy enough at the time to deal with all that comes with the responsibility of talking to the press. I said some very sophomoric things and that mistake was mine and mine alone, and I have learned from it” Anderson took it a step further, putting the blame on his own shoulders. “Vince McMahon didn’t screw ‘Mr. Kennedy.’ WWE didn’t screw ‘Mr. Kennedy.’ Ken Anderson screwed ‘Mr. Kennedy.'” You can read the full blog at CraveOnline.
