Takeover Portland is recapped. Undisputed Era kicks off the show. Adam Cole says the Undisputed Era “isn’t going anywhere.” Velveteen Dream plays a trippy graphic on the titantron and taunts Strong before their match tonight.
Gargano’s betrayal of Ciampa is recapped.
WWE NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match: Jordan Devlin (c) vs. Lio Rush
They tentatively lock up. Rush overpowers Devlin and Devlin escapes to the outside. We head to commercial. Rush spends the commercial break throwing Devlin around with stiff, vindictive suplexes.
Back from commercial and Devlin gets a nearfall. Devlin takes over the momentum and keeps Rush grounded. Devlin ducks a punch and hits a Uranage. Rush unleashes a flurry of strikes. Devlin counters with a Half & Half Suplex. Devlin knocks the wind out of Rush. Devlin hits a Butterfly Suplex for a nearfall.
Devlin locks in a Camel Clutch. Rush gets to the ropes and Devlin stretches him. Devlin breaks the hold and teasingly punches Rush. He pummels Rush in the corner. Devlin blocks The Come Up with a Backdrop Backbreaker. Rush fights back with stiff chops. Devlin fights back and hits a Jawbreaker. We head to commercial.
Back from commercial and both men are down. Rush takes out Devlin on the outside and sends him back in the ring. Rush hits a Diving Crossbody for a nearfall.
Devlin hits a huge Cutter on Rush. Rush rolls out of the ring. Devlin hits an Apron Run Penalty Kick. Devlin hits a Golden Triangle Moonsault. Rush recovers and hits an Asai Corkscrew Moonsault. Rush gets Devlin back in the ring.
Devlin dodges a dive. Rush gets a nearfall off a rollup. Devlin hits a Standing Spanish Fly. Rush locks in a Koji Clutch. Devlin fights out. Devlin crotches Rush on the top rope. Rush hits a Poison Rana. Rush hits the Come Up. Rush covers but Devlin gets his foot on the rope. Devlin dodges Final Hour. Devlin hits a headbutt. Devlin hits a Saito Suplex for the pinfall in 18:35.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMP: Jordan Devlin.
