Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston to Sign WWE Title Match for Fastlane on SmackDown Live

Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston will sign the contract for their WWE Championship match on the February 26 edition of SmackDown Live. The championship match is booked for Fastlane on March 10 in Cleveland.

Kingston has been on a very impressive run as of late, pinning Bryan on TV and challenging him for the WWE title inside the Elimination Chamber. Kofi got the nod for that match when Mustafa Ali was removed due to injury. Though he did not win in the Chamber, Kingston battled till the very end and was ultimately pinned by Bryan.

The match at Fastlane is a natural extension of this new feud of course and it could be that this means big things ahead for Kofi. The New Day founder has had opportunities in the past of course and he’s held many championships, but he’s never been the world champion.

But many fans believe that this indeed Kofi’s time. The New Day has been together since 2014 and it may only be a matter of time until the group goes their separate ways.
