Interesting Statistic Concerning The Shield’s Championship Dominance at WrestleMania
August 4, 2021 | News | No Comments
Twitter user Eddie recently posted an interesting statistic on The Shield’s dominance at WrestleMania. More specifically, the dominance that has to do with their runs as champions in WWE.
Over the past four WrestleManias, the members of The Shield have left with championship gold. Seth Rollins became the new WWE champion at WM 31 after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase in the main event.
Roman Reigns walked away from WM 32 as the new WWE champion after beating Triple H. Dean Ambrose retained the Intercontinental Championship against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 33 and Rollins won the same title one year later at WrestleMania 34 in a Triple Threat Match against The Miz and Finn Bálor.

WWE went all in with The Shield and that gamble has more than paid off. All three men are proven main event stars and each one has stepped up every time his number is called. Ambrose may be leaving the company after April, but fans shouldn’t be surprised if someone from the brotherhood leaves this year’s WrestleMania with championship gold.
That someone could very well be Seth, who is booked to face Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
