During a Cage promo that saw Dreamer come out and give his old friend props for becoming the champion, Austin and Madman Fulton came out and ran down both men, leading to a brawl. Later on the show, Austin demanded Scott D’Amore do something about Dreamer. D’Amore made a singles match between both men with the stipulation of Dreamer being added to the match if he picks up a win.
Austin won a four-way at Emergence to get the title shot against Cage on September 18th.
Next Thursday’s show will also feature X-Division Champion Josh Alexander defending his title against any former X-Division Champion in an open challenge. Alexander has been on a roll since winning the belt and is looking for new opponents.
In other action:
Taylor Wilde, Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering will take on The Influence (Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne, Kaleb with a K). The latter defeated Wilde in a handicap match Thursday and were beating down Wilde afterward before the former Knockouts Tag Team Champions ran out for the save.
Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green will face Rohit Raju and Shera. Cardona has been at odds with Raju and Shera the past few weeks.
The BTI pre-show match will see John Skyler vs. Jake Something, fresh off Something’s failed attempt to take the X-Division title off Alexander at Emergence.
