Ariana Grande’s Response to Her and Pete Davidson’s Engagement News Is Adorable   

Saturday Night Live‘s Pete Davidson put a ring on it, and Ariana Grande couldn’t be happier. The singer took to Twitter to share her excitement about their engagement news, and there were a lot see-no-evil monkey emojis used.

“i love you sm ok bye,” she wrote in between all of the monkey emojis. Short and sweet—just like their relationship so far.

The engagement definitely comes as a surprise since they’ve only been dating for one month. However, they’ve filled a lot of milestones into a short period of time. Since they began dating, there have been tattoos dedicated to their relationship, matching Harry Potter costumes, and now an engagement.

“It’s a recent engagement. They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding,” a source close to the couple told People.

While it’s obviously a very happy time for the couple, comedian Kathy Griffin has some advice. “Get a pre-nup girl – trust me. Protect that money,” she tweeted in response to Grande’s emoji-filled declaration of love. 

So far Davidson has yet to respond, but we’re sure he’s just as over the moon as Grande. Congrats to the couple!
