For TV this week:

Enzo, Big Cass, Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder b Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder with Enzo and Cass with the Rocket Launcher

They opened the show with Enzo and Big Cass without Carmella. Loudest reaction I have heard in a long time. Amazing. They started the match with Ryder and a minute later the crowd was chanting “We want Enzo”. They did a spot where the babyfaces threw Enzo to the outside on the heels. Huge pop.

Eva Marie b Carmella with Sliced Red #2

Eva Marie was booed big time. Carmella didn’t get half of the pop Enzo and Big Cass got, coming by herself. Eva Marie got the usual “You can’t wrestle” chant. Nothing match. Far from the level of a regular NXT women’s match.

Bull Dempsey b Elias Samson with a modified Vader bomb.

Instead of a splash he sat down on Samson. Better reaction for Dempsey than I was expecting.

Emma b Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Dana Brooke with her running crossbody in the corner

Becky was the star here to the fans. She got a bigger reaction than Charlotte. Weird deal. I believe Becky didn’t kick out at 2 so the referee (Drake Younger) counted 3, but it was clear in his face and on Emma’s that it wasn’t the finish. After a minute they made Charlotte speared Emma. Brooke came to the ring and Becky took her out so they could do the simultaneous Figure 8 and Fujiwara armbar. Seemed like it was done to have a babyface reaction at the end to save the heel finish.

Notes:

– Triple H came to the ring for his show opening promo to a huge pop and “Thank you Hunter” chant.  He said he has 13,569 reasons to thanks the crowd.

– Next WWE show at Barclays: RAW on December 28

– NXT heads to the UK from December 10-16 with tickets for their tour going on sale on August 28.

– Tonight’s show started 15-20 minutes late.
