Saturday night marked a big milestone for the reigning NXT World Champion.
Tommaso Ciampa took to social media ahead of the NXT live event in Lowell, Massachusetts to write about Saturday marking the 14-year anniversary of his pro wrestling debut, which coincidentally enough, took place in Lowell, Massachusetts with the Chaotic Wrestling promotion.
“My career began 14 years ago in Lowell, MA with Chaotic Wrestling,” wrote Ciampa on his official Twitter page prior to the NXT Lowell event on Saturday afternoon. “Today, I return to the city where it all began as The Champ.”
Ciampa continued, “I would tell you that ‘dreams come true’ but the truth is 99% of you are far too lazy to actually achieve your dreams.”
Ciampa teamed with NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano in the tag-team main event of the aforementioned NXT Lowell house show, losing to the duo of Velveteen Dream and Ricochet.
