Home / Flood Situation Worsens In Northeast, 2 Nagaland Districts Isolated Due To Landslides

Northeastern states, especially Nagaland and Assam have been battered with incessant rains following landslides, forcing people to evacuate homes and seek shelter.

Phek and Kiphire districts of Nagaland are the worst affected by floods this year. The districts have been completely cut-off due to landslides on all sides. The district administration is finding it impossible to reach out to villagers stranded in remote areas.
