Soon, the compost made from household waste may be available online for sale.

The state’s horticulture department is all set to become the first and major customer by purchasing tonnes of compost made out of waste. The department would in turn save Rs 16 lakh every year by purchasing compost from the local bodies instead of other private sources.
It is going to sign an MoU with all the local bodies across the state and buy manure made from household waste.
