As Trump, Kim Hold Historic Meet, Here Is The Timeline Of North Korea-US Conflict

All eyes were on the historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un that took place today in Singapore.

The US is an ally to South Korea, the other half of the Korean Peninsula divided by the Americans and Soviets in 1945. The peninsula was the part of Japanese empire and after its defeat in WW-II, the two powers divided it between North and South Koreas and drew 38 Parallel in between.
