Dolph Ziggler confused audiences when he won the United States Championship at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view only to surrender the title just two days later. He disappeared from television for a while before returning as the 30th entrant during the men’s Royal Rumble match. He still has yet to return to Smackdown, but that is about to change. During Tuesday’s edition of the show, WWE confirmed that Ziggler will be returning to the ring during next week’s episode of Smackdown. Ziggler will be facing Baron Corbin in his first match back on the blue brand. Get ready to see the former World Heavyweight Champion “showing off” in the ring once again very soon.

Jason Jordan is reportedly dealing with a very serious neck injury and WWE recently confirmed that he has undergone surgery for his injury. It is unclear how long Jordan may be out of action for at the moment, but Seth Rollins has already found himself a new tag team partner. Despite the alliance on Raw this past Monday night, Rollins’ new partner is not Roman Reigns. Instead, PWInsider reports that Rollins will be teaming up with Finn Balor on upcoming live events. They will be competing for the Raw Tag Team Championships in matches against Sheamus and Cesaro. There is currently no word on whether or not this partnership is expected to be seen on television.
Even though it had been rumored for months, fans were still surprised when Vince McMahon announced that the XFL would be returning in 2020. McMahon confirmed that the XFL is a completely separate entity from WWE, and the football league is being put together by his Alpha Entertainment company. While we still have months to go before the first game takes place, PWInsider has learned that Alpha Entertainment recently filed trademarks for the new XFL logo and the Alpha Entertainment logo. The report also spotted the headquarters for McMahon’s new business located in Stamford, Connecticut. Feel free to check out the location of Alpha Entertainment here.
