Swann vs. Bey Impact World title match set for Final Resolution

Home / Swann vs. Bey Impact World title match set for Final Resolution

At the end of Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling, World Champion Rich Swann was out cold at the hands of Chris Bey with the former X Division Champion raising the World title belt above his head.

Shortly after the show aired, the company announced on Twitter that Bey accepted a challenge from Swann for a title match at December 12th’s Final Resolution event on Impact Plus.

Bey had just lost to Willie Mack in Tuesday’s main event when Moose came out to attack Mack. Swann ran out to aid his friend and got hit with Bey’s Art of Finesse finisher instead.

Swann will be looking for his fourth title defense since winning the beltĀ at October’s Bound For Glory. The 24-year-old Bey signed with Impact in February and won the X Division title in July at Slammiversary, holding it for a month.

As of now, the only other match announced for Final Resolution is Ethan Page vs. Karl Anderson with a tag team title shot on the line.
