Hangman Page vs PAC Announced for Next Week’s AEW Dynamite Premiere

All Elite Wrestling has announced another BIG match for next Wednesday’s highly anticipated debut on TNT. The series, officially entitled AEW Dynamite, will premiere with a singles bout originally intended for this summer’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, as Hangman Page finally battles PAC.
Seeds were planted for this match all the way back in January, when Hangman spoke to members of the media in Jacksonville, claiming that he would become the first ever AEW World Champion. PAC then shocked the world by approaching the stage completely unannounced, coming face-to-face with the Virginian cowboy.
While that match didn’t play out in Las Vegas as originally planned due to… issues… Hangman did work his way into the main event world title match at AEW All Out, losing to living legend Chris Jericho, while PAC scored off something of an upset over the “Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega.
It was assumed that the inevitable collision would take place at All Elite Wrestling’s next pay-per-view event in Baltimore this November, Full Gear, but it would appear that Christmas has come early in order to super-stack what should be a massive series premiere on TNT.
Also set for next Wednesday’s show is Nyla Rose vs. Riho to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion, and a singles match between Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin. There will also be a six-man tag team match in the main event as Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks team up to face Chris Jericho and two mystery partners.
