WWE Championship Match Announced For Money In The Bank

Kofi Kingston laid down the challenge, and Kevin Owens has now accepted it.

Last Tuesday night on Smackdown Live, Owens turned his back on The New Day laying waste to both WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, who he powerbombed into the edge of the ring apron.

The champ kicked off this week’s show by issuing a challenge to the Canadian turncoat for a world title match at next month’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which Owens quickly accepted — after yet another attack on Xavier Woods.
