Backstage News On John Cena’s In-Ring Status For WrestleMania

We are ONE WEEK away from the biggest event in sports entertainment, and WWE hasn’t publicly said word one about the status of their most globally recognized mega star.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, there actually is “a deal on the table” for John Cena to compete in a match next Sunday at WrestleMania, and it is currently expected that he will be in action.

It has been rumored that the 16-time world champion may end up as the surprise opponent for Kurt Angle, who is retiring at WrestleMania in a match against Baron Corbin. If Meltzer’s report is accurate, Angle is not the opponent WWE has in place for Cena next weekend.
