Rich Swann’s First Post-WWE Appearance Revealed, Konnan Addresses Rey Mysterio’s Future

As noted, WWE announced today that the company and Rich Swann have parted ways, and Swann’s first post-WWE appearance has already been set.

Swann will be appearing at The Big Event, taking place on March 10th in Queens, NYC, for an autograph signing.

Konnan Addreseses Rey Mysterio’s Future

Impact Wrestling star Konnan participated in a media teleconference call today, and was asked at one point about Rey Mysterio’s future. Konnan noted that Mysterio is fielding offers from several companies right now, including Impact Wrestling, and he will be making a decision based on what is best for him.

As we reported earlier today, via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, current speculation is that if Mysterio does indeed re-sign with WWE it will likely be for a return in 2019. Mysterio could end up working a part-time deal similar to that of Chris Jericho, in which Mysterio is allowed to pursue projects outside of WWE, but that will all depend on Vince McMahon approving the contract.
