Undertaker To RETIRE This Year?, MAJOR Star To RETURN To WWE + NEW HOF Inductees …

The big day is finally upon us – the WWE Network is LIVE. #WWENetwork is currently trending worldwide on Twitter, indicating a lot of social media buzz.

WWE is offering a 1-week trial for the Network, so if you are signing up, make sure to take advantage of that to sample the Network for a full week before committing to the 6-month commitment.

I was able to sign up with no problem at all and watched the first-ever broadcast on the Network, “WrestleMania Rewind.” However, viewing footage from the archived PPV library has been consistently timing out and crashing. At times, Network.WWE.com would not load at all, producing a white screen with the error text, “bamwsv2.” We’ve also heard a lot of people have had difficulty viewing the Network on XBox 360.

Fans can discuss the WWE Network launch and the technical difficulties at the WWE Network subreddit at Reddit.com/r/WWENetwork.

Many fans have been reporting technical difficulties while signing up and viewing videos. The front page of of WWE.com has a message that states, “WWE Network Experiencing High Demand” and asks people to “please be patient.”

Here is Vince McMahon’s official Welcome Message, which aired at 9am (Eastern) for the WWE Network launch:

Punk, John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Kane, Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, Big Show, Mark Henry, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler. KURT ANGLE Returning To WWE?!, Sting At WMXXX & HUGE WWE Title Change Planned!

– Former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone was at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut a few weeks ago, most likely to be interviewed for future WCW projects on the WWE Network or DVD release.

Schiavone has been fielding a lot of wrestling-related questions and comments on Twitter and noted that he’s had a huge increase in people tweeting him since the launch of the WWE Network. When asked why he left WWE back in 1990 and jumped to WCW, he made this interesting comment:

– The Barclays Center website is advertising both Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker for Monday’s RAW from Brooklyn, New York.

There is also talk that Hulk Hogan will be at the show, but WWE has not announced anything yet.

– John Cena cut a promo on Tuesday night at the WWE SmackDown tapings — prior to the news of Ultimate Warrior’s passing — where he joked about Warrior’s promos, mimmicking his style a bit.
