The war of words between WWE Hall of Famers Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan is heating up.

To recap, Bret Hart was asked by one of his Twitter followers on Wednesday night what he thought about Hulk Hogan. Hart tweeted:

“Hogan’s nothing but a two-faced, backstabbing, steroid freak who deserved everything he got.”

It didn’t take long for Hulk Hogan to respond to those harsh words. Hogan tweeted on Thursday morning:

“Listen to where Bretts speaking from,it’s funny he’s done everything he’s saying I did.”

Bret Hart has responded to Hulk Hogan once again with the following:

“HulkHogan4Real That’s not what John Graziano thinks, dickhead.”

As many know, John Graziano is the young man who was a passenger in Nick Hogan’s car during Nick’s August 2007 car wreck that left Graziano permanently brain damaged. Hulk Hogan was sued by the Graziano family and settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed amount of money last February.

The new season of WWE Tough Enough does not premiere until Monday night after the post-WrestleMania edition of RAW, but we’ve already got a sneak peek at the first episode, including some spoilers. You’ve been warned.

* The show begins with host “Stone Cold” Steve Austin making the contestants set up an empty arena for a live WWE event. The next day, the contestants begin their training with Trish Stratus, Booker T and Bill DeMott.

* The first beef in the Tough Enough house is between Miss USA Rima Fakih and New Jersey wrestler Mickael Zaki. Zaki runs his mouth about how Tough Enough should have only featured men and women don’t belong on the show. Zaki throws a pillow at Miss USA, who responds by telling him off and storming out of the room. Zaki is portrayed as a heel on the first episode.

* One of the contestants “crapped their pants” during the in-ring training.

Alex Marvez of Scrippsnews.com recently interviewed TNA champion Sting, who had some interesting things to say about why he decided to stay with TNA instead of signing with WWE, the possibility of him working a future WrestleMania and his debacle of a match with Jeff Hardy at TNA Victory Road. Here are some highlights of what Sting said about:

Deciding Against Signing With WWE:

“I’m not going to lie to you — who wouldn’t want to say that they did ‘Wrestlemania’ at least one time? It’s the ultimate event in wrestling. It’s still in the back of my mind that there’s a chance of it happening someday, somehow. I think time may have run out completely now, but who knows?”

“The timing couldn’t have been better (to work ‘Wrestlemania’), but I’m glad it turned out the way it did.”

Sting has said in the past that he is not confident that WWE would portray his character in a good light and also cited “personal reasons that I don’t want to talk about” as reasons he never went to WWE.

His TNA Contract, Which Pays A Lot & Doesn’t Require Many Appearances:

“After 20-something years, is that OK? (Hulk) Hogan is in a similar boat. The difference between me and him is that he’s not in the ring. Lord willing, I hope he gets back in there. But here I still am at the age of 52 bouncing around. Some of the other guys in WWE have the same deal like The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels before he left.

“After a while, some of us just can’t hold it together anymore. I think I’m doing a pretty good job holding on.”

His Match With Jeff Hardy at Victory Road:

“On my first pay-per-view back with TNA and my first world-title match, are you kidding me?” Borden said. “I was already trying to overcome the ‘Oh, they didn’t put (the title) on him again did they? He’s a dinosaur’ stuff, and then you add, ‘What just happened?’ I know everyone’s first reaction was, ‘Wow, they’re really trying to get Sting over (to the fans) so much now that it’s ridiculous. They’ve totally ruined Jeff Hardy.’

“You know the real scoop. This is not what I wanted. I had something really good planned out and was ready to have an incredible match with Jeff that night. I’m very disappointed and hurt. So is everyone else.”

“The ripple effect of that (Hardy) match is bigger than you can imagine.”

It took longer than expected, but The Good Brothers made their AEW debut Wednesday night on Dynamite.

The Impact Tag Team Champions teamed with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a win over the Varsity Blondes and Danny Limelight — a preview of their six-man tag team match against Impact World Champion Rich Swann and the Motor City Machine Guns this Saturday on the Impact Hard To Kill pay-per-view.

Omega and Don Callis were backstage with the Young Bucks in preparation for Wednesday’s match. Callis said they would see the Bucks out there, but when he and Omega got to the ring, Callis instead introduced the “World Tag Team Champions” and Omega’s “best friends”, the Good Brothers. Omega, the Brothers and the Bucks had reformed their faction on last week’s Dynamite as a callback to their Bullet Club days.

After the match, Jon Moxley ran out and attacked Omega but the numbers were just too much. The Lucha Bros came out to even the odds and a brawl ensued which brought out the Bucks. They tried to calm down Moxley and the Bros superkicked them instead. The brawl continued and Callis and Omega slinked away while surveying the chaotic scene.

In the summer of 2019, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson re-upped with WWE when it was thought they would sign with the still-developing AEW, referenced in this July 2020 BTE. They were released last April as part of the WWE pandemic cuts and signed with Impact in a June 2020 deal that allows them to also work for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Well, that didn’t last long …

At Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown tapings from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida – Randy Orton defeated Christian to become the new World Heavyweight champion.

This makes Christian’s World Heavyweight title reign one of the shortest in WWE history at just 2 days.

No word yet on why WWE decided to give Christian such a short reign, but you can be sure there will be more details on this story coming out in the coming days. Stay tuned.

* COMMENT HERE: What Do YOU Think About CHRISTIAN Dropping The Title ALREADY?

During a recent interview with the Wrestling Voice radio show, former WWE star Chris Jericho spoke about his time on Dancing with the Stars, his metal band Fozzy, WWE banning the word “wrestling” and whether he’ll return to WWE. Here are some highlighs of what Chris Jericho said about:

WWE Supporting Him On DWTS

“I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to support it 100%, you have an audience of 23 million every week and hearing the words WWE every single week and seeing one of their guys performing on a whole different level and wowing people and breaking the stereotypes of what a wrestler is and what a wrestler does, but some of it was a no brainer for them.”

Dancing As ‘Chris Irvine’ One Week On DWTS:

“I was dancing for my Mom and that week was a very open and raw performance, and it was the producers idea to have me dance as Chris Irvine, which was a cool experience, it was a very moving performing and fitting.”

WWE Banning The Word “Wrestling”

“As long as there is a ring nag guys in spandex throwing each other around it’s gonna be wrestling, you can call it what you want but if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and moves like a it’s a duck, it’s always gonna be wrestling.”

Whether He Will Return To WWE

“Everybody asks, ‘when are you coming back?’ and I don’t know if I’ll ever come back, I have no plans of it… I still love the WWE, I love watching it, but I don’t know if I’ll ever come back.”

Other topics discussed include, hosting the Golden God awards, the next Fozzy record, Edge’s retirement, Zack Ryder and his latest book. You can listen to the podcast on iTunes by clicking here.
