Hulk Hogan discussed Kurt Angle’s recent arrest for driving under the influence during an interview with Busted Open and said ex-wife Karen told him Kurt’s a horrible driver and that she didn’t allow him to drive their children during their entire marriage.

“The Kurt Angle thing, I don’t know what to think of it yet. They said he blew, you know, and he wasn’t drinking. I can’t even begin to go there, I’m not going to put Hulk Hogan’s opinion over what the legal system comes up with, because I don’t even know what we are talking about with Kurt. I don’t know what the facts yet, I don’t know what’s going on,” Hogan said.

“You know I talked to his wife and she said he’s a horrible driver. The whole time they were married she wouldn’t even let him drive the kids. He texts when he drives, he’s great in the ring as far as focusing but his people skills are horrible. He’s got two left feet, and it translates into his driving. I’m not making any excuses for him, but I want to know what the facts are before I pass any judgement.”

Karen, after reading Hogan’s remarks, wrote on Twitter, “People should never make false statements and say they had conversations with people they didn’t!!!!”

She then wrote to ProWrestling.net’s Twitter page requesting an interview to “set the record straight on Hogan’s comments.”

The Vice President of the Knockouts Division added, “One thing EVERYONE needs to know about myself…DON’T mess with my family!!!! If you do..GOD help you!!!!”

Hardcore legend Mick Foley was a guest on this week’s Monday Night Mayhem radio show.

Mick Foley Discusses His Long-Awaited WWE Return, The Impact That “Stone Cold” Steve Austin & The Rock Had On Him Wanting To Come Back, Being A Part Of “RAW Gets Rocked” & SmackDown’s Live Holiday Special, Which WWE Superstars He Has Had The Chance To Interact With/Focus On The Most Thus Far Since Rejoining The WWE, Collaborating With THQ As Part Of “WWE ’12″/Being Featured As Part Of The Game’s DLC Content, Whether He Sees Himself Performing At/Or Being Part Of WrestleMania XXVIII In Miami, Why He Believes His Character Is Appreciated By Wrestling Fans After All These Years, Whether Or Not He Has Been Surprised At How Quickly His Stand-Up Comedy Has Taken Off, Why He Holds A Special Place In His Heart For The City Of Buffalo After Meeting The Late Tim Russert (Of NBC’s “Meet The Press”) Prior To His Passing, Plus Much More.

You can listen to an MP3 of Foley appearance by clicking here.

Here are some highlights of what Mick Foley said about:

His thoughts about returning to WWE television earlier this month, as part of “RAW Gets Rocked”: “I was in negotiations with the WWE, and I said ‘Look, I’ll come back on one condition…I want to be in a really bad segment. Like historically bad. I want to have people talking about how bad this segment will be years from now.’ I think there’s no doubt that we did that (in Boston). One of the worst segments of all-time. I thought it was fun, even though a few people didn’t see the point in me coming back after such a long time to be involved in something like that, but I think it was great.

Which three WWE Superstars he has the chance to interact with and focus on the most thus far since coming back to the WWE: “I will say when I got in the ring with The Miz, there was an immediate chemistry. He’s very good at what he does. He’s perhaps the best jerk in the business, which is a tribute. Right now, I’m watching Dolph Ziggler in the ring. To me, he’s underrated in the sense that he’s right on the verge of being recognized as a superstar, but I believe his matches have been so good that when he gets a chance to turn that page, he will have the credibility to pull that off. Watching Zack Ryder’s rise to stardom is a of fun, because you could see how elated he is.”

Whether you can expect to see him perform at and/or be a part of WrestleMania XXVIII at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL: “I think I better buy a ticket if I want to get in this WrestleMania. Everyone wants that big spot, and traditionally, even my biggest match of the decade has been with Randy Orton, the match after WrestleMania. The guys who have been carrying the company should have that spot on the biggest night. I’m going to try to get into some semblance of condition, just to if the fates are kind and decide that I should be a part of that show.”

Mickie James participated in an interview with Female First while she was in the UK promoting TNA Wrestling’s upcoming Maximum Impact Tour and recalled her reaction to being released from her WWE contract last year. She admitted it was as big a shock for her, and did upset her.

“I think it angered a lot of people,” she says, continuing: “It would be one thing if I was doing a poor job, and I didn’t capture the fans every time I went out there, or if I wasn’t so good at what I did.”

As it was, it drained her of her passion for wrestling, until one show in a high school gym.

“I looked around the locker room, looking in these peoples’ eyes. There were people who had never been anywhere, never wrestled anywhere except here. You could see that fire in their eyes, that desire and that wanting to make it. I thought…s***, what happened to that?”

She adds: “It was one of those wonderful eye-opening things. I do this because I love it, I love entertaining the fans. I love what I do out there, and I’m amazing at it.”

This led her to TNA, with the organization acquiring another wrestler who gained notoriety in WWE. Whilst TNA sometimes comes under fire for pushing homegrown talent aside in favour of former WWE talent, she thinks it’s important to keep it fresh.

“You can’t do the same things over and over again. We have so much talent, there are ways to keep it fresh,” she explains, before pointing out that AJ Styles and Samoa Joe are still featured regularly on television.

She then adds that if people wanted to watch the same thing over and over again, they would tune into WWE.

“TNA really started to make a name for themselves with the X Division, stuff like that, because it was different, nobody else was doing it,” she says.

According to the article, the industry has it’s detractors, both in the wrestling press and with sceptics. James has a less-than-favorable opinion on the subject of “the poor end of the wrestling press” (referred to as “dirt sheets”):

She points out that “nobody reads those things”, adding: “I feel like, nine times out of ten, it’s somebody who thinks they know, but really they don’t.”

The industry also faces criticism from those who disregard what the wrestlers do as fake. James says, “We’ll never try to pull the wool over anybody’s eyes and say there’s not a certain artwork to it. I guarantee you, 9 out of 10 people in the world wouldn’t step in the ring and do what I do, nor could they. I think we have one of the hardest jobs in the world.”

She also discusses her memorable program with Trish Stratus, balancing her music and wrestling careers, the experience of a live TNA show, and more. The full article can be accessed here.

Cena announced on Twitter a few months ago that he is planning to change his often-mocked ring gear.

At this point, its unknown whether Cena’s camo shorts are a permanent change – or just a tribute to the Fort Hood soldiers who were in attendance.

Hindustan Times has an article on The Great Khali stating that he is preparing for a WWE event slated to take place in India early next year.

“Since it is in my country, this will be my first wrestling before my countrymen, I don’t want to be unprepared for the historical event,” Khali said.

WWE.com announced Khali suffered a fractured fibula following a brutal attack by World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry on the September 30 SmackDown. The angle was conducted to remove the former World Heavyweight Champion from television since his contract is set to expire and will likely not be renewed. He is, however, expected to maintain a relationship with WWE.
