Advantages of rapid prototyping companies

November 5, 2024 | News | No Comments

Rapid prototyping technology dates back to a Japanese professor in 1979. The first rapid prototyping equipment was produced by an American company. After several years of development, the equipment became popular in 1994. In fact, this is the first time people can produce products without tools. Obviously, rapid prototyping companies using this technology have greater advantages than other ordinary manufacturing companies.

It is easy to make many different shaped parts, such as grooves, shoulders and hollow parts. It helps reduce a lot of development costs and development cycles. Any product undergoes repeated experiments before it is officially released. Rapid prototyping technology can help solve many technical problems that have plagued us for a long time.

This is a non-contact machining method and people do not need to worry about tool wear. And it is free of vibration, noise and cutting waste. It follows the rules of automatic production. It can even work at night without real-time monitoring by anyone.

Rapid prototyping has been widely used in many fields of automotive, medical and many other industries. To date, there are more than a dozen rapid prototyping technologies in the world. This is also the initial stage of rapid prototyping. We believe that rapid prototyping technology will show more advantages in the future, and rapid prototyping companies with such advanced technology will become mainstream.

Former Australia cricketer and Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody was as much in awe of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill after Sunday’s iconic game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium as about anyone else.

The game would see Gill outpower Virat Kohli’s hundred with one of his own to help Gujarat win by six wickets and land a knockout punch to the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who needed to win in the final league stage game in order to progress through to the 2023 Indian Premier League playoffs.

Both Kohli and Gill would register back to back centuries, having previously scored a hundred in their side’s respective games against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Moody however believes that while looked ‘composed’, it was Gill, who had the better of the two outings.

“He is such a delight to watch. He is so composed at the crease. You look at his facial expression and his body language, he looks so much in control. He has got the game. Eight sixes! That was the difference in the two hundreds. Both were brilliant hundreds. But Kohli only hit one six. Gill hit eight of them and was batting at a strike rate of 200. That’s a significant difference. And that coming in a chase, hats off to him,” Moody told ESPN Cricinfo.

While the game would see the end of the IPL 2023 campaign for Kohli and Co, Gill and Gujarat will face Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday.

Chasing 182 in a must-win game against the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023 Eliminator, only one batter for the Lucknow Super Giants crossed the 20-run mark. They allowed a five-for. They lost three wickets to comically embarrassing run-outs. Their last eight wickets fell for 32 runs.

Such has been the chaos in thinking at LSG, that the franchise used four different opening combinations in their last four games. Deepak Hooda, the player who opened the batting for LSG, when they defeated MI just eight days ago, batted at number seven on Thursday. For Lucknow’s abysmal performance in the IPL 2023 Eliminator on Wednesday, these and a few more factors are to blame.

As the IPL 2023 season comes to an end for Lucknow, here are the reasons for the team flattering to deceive:

KL Rahul’s lean patch and withdrawal

Regular skipper KL Rahul amassed 274 runs in the nine games he played before suffering a hamstring injury that forced him to withdraw from the tournament in the middle of it. Former Australia great Tom Moody also pointed out how his absence affected the side and said, “I think KL Rahul was a massive miss for LSG. This is the second time they have reached the playoffs so that in itself is a great achievement for a new team.”

“I think even though at the point that KL Rahul injured himself, you can just about guarantee that he would have scored three, if not more, half-centuries in the rest of the games and that was missing,” he said on ESPNCricinfo.

Lack of proper Indian batting line-up

The batting of LSG was mainly reliant on its international talents, including Kyle Mayers, Nicholas Pooran, and Marcus Stoinis. While the trio stepped up, the Indian hitters were unable to make a strong impression. Only Prerak Mankad and Ayush Badoni, in addition to Rahul, were Indian batsmen this season to reach the fifty-run mark. They each scored one. They suffered significantly from the failures of stand-in skipper Krunal Pandya (188 runs) and Deepak Hooda (84 runs).

The De Kock dilemma

Proteas star Quinton De Kock served as Lucknow’s bench warmer for the most part. Prior to entering the IPL, the wicketkeeper batsman had a respectable track record for his national team. However, despite his brilliant form he was only brought in the XI after an injury ruled KL Rahul out of the tournament, after which the wicketkeeper opened the innings with Mayers.

The team was forced to depend on Indian quicks, which didn’t work out for them because Pooran and Stoinis were showing to be valuable middle-order players. Other than this, LSG could’ve also used his captaincy services in KL’s absence.

Bowlers lose direction away from home

At home, LSG consistently switched between the red-soiled and black-soiled wickets whilst utilising all of their bowlers. Their first game wicket at the Ekana favoured bounce resulting in Mark Wood taking a fifer. Their spinners were spot on when spin-friendly surfaces were subsequently set up. But when they weren’t at home, the bowlers lacked direction. And when it got to Chepauk, their spinners were unable to take advantage of the conditions as CSK and MI slower bowlers did on the same field.

Bayern Munich snatched their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title in dramatic fashion with a final day 2-1 win at Cologne on Saturday courtesy of Jamal Musiala’s 89th minute goal, grabbing the trophy from the hands of rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund had gone into the last game of the season in top spot but stumbled to a 2-2 against visitors Mainz 05, allowing Bayern to squeeze past them in the tightest league race in years.

In a climactic season finale, Bayern were celebrating what ended up being an unexpected title win while Dortmund’s dreams of their first league trophy since 2012 were left in tatters when they were trailing 2-0 to Mainz early on before battling to a 2-2 draw – but they needed victory to become champions.

Bayern finished on 71 points, ahead on goal difference from Dortmund. RB Leipzig and sensational Union Berlin are third and fourth respectively and will also compete in the Champions League next season.

Hertha Berlin and Schalke 04 were relegated, while VfB Stuttgart will go into the relegation playoff.

Kingsley Coman settled Bayern’s nerves early on, putting them into the lead with a superbly curled shot into the top corner.

With Dortmund behind from the first half, the Bavarians knew they were now in front and controlled the first half without risking too much.

Leroy Sane did slot in just before the break but his effort did not count following a VAR review for handball.

With Bayern club bosses nervously checking their mobile phones for the score in Dortmund, Cologne earned an 80th minute penalty and Dejan Ljubicic sent keeper the wrong way to level.

Sane thought he had missed the chance to hand his team the title when he failed to beat the Cologne keeper in the 88th but Musiala did it perfectly a minute later, curling a low drive into the far post in the rollercoaster season ending.

Dortmund’s title dreams in tatters after shock home draw to Mainz

Borussia Dortmund’s dream of their first Bundesliga title in 11 years turned into a nightmare on Saturday after a shock 2-2 home draw to Mainz 05 dropped them to second place on goal difference in the season finale, handed the title to rivals Bayern Munich.

With a sea of tens of thousands of yellow and black-clad fans outside the stadium and a sold-out 81,000 crowd inside ready to pop the champagne for their first league crown since 2012, Dortmund went into the game in top spot.

The club had ordered more than 120,000 litres of beer according to club bosses but fans had nothing to celebrate at the start with Mainz snatching the lead through Andreas Hanche-Olsen’s header at the near post in the 15th minute.

Dortmund’s Sebastien Haller had a golden chance to level and lift some of the mounting the pressure on his team just four minutes later but he saw his weak penalty saved.

It got even worse in the 24th when Karim Onisiwo was left with far too much space in the box to drill in his header, shocking the hosts and silencing the stadium.

A second half attempted comeback did not yield immediate results, even as coach Edin Terzic brought in captain Marco Reus and striker Karim Adeyemi.

Mainz, playing without any pressure, made it hard for Dortmund who needed to up the tempo further and cut the deficit with Raphael Guerreiro’s shot in the 69th.

With the fans growing louder again the hosts poured forward with substitute teenager Julien Duranville injecting new life into Dortmund’s game.

For the first time since 1937, a Chinese man competed in the main draw of the French Open — and, actually, a total of three did, all playing opening-round matches on Monday.

The first of the groundbreaking group in action on the red clay of the Grand Slam tournament at Roland Garros was Shang Juncheng, who made it into the field via qualifying and faced Juan Pablo Varillas of Peru on Court 5.

With some Chinese flags waving in the stands and chants of support from spectators, Shang grabbed a two-set lead at the outset. But it was Varillas who emerged with a 4-6, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-1 comeback victory after nearly 3 1/2 hours.

The next turn went to Wu Yibing, who took on No. 19 seed Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain over on Court 12. Bautista Agut picked up the win by the relatively straightforward score of 7-6 (4), 6-1, 6-1.

Later in the day, back on Court 5, Zhang Zhizhen gave China its first man in the second round at the French Open since Kho Sin-Kie got to the third round 77 years ago. Zhang advanced when his opponent, Dusan Lajovic of Serbia, stopped playing because of a stomach virus while trailing 6-1, 4-1.

“That’s quite special,” said Zhang, a 26-year-old from Shanghai who is ranked 71st.

“I mean, we have so many (people) waiting for us to get the first win,” Zhang said. “Just step (by) step, and then we can get a lot of wins.”

He was the first of the trio who played Monday to make a Grand Slam breakthrough, appearing at Wimbledon two years ago. In 2022, he and Wu both participated in the U.S. Open, with Wu getting to the third round there. In January, Zhang, Wu and Shang all were in the field at the Australian Open; Shang reached the second round.

Another big moment came in February, when Wu became the first Chinese player to win an ATP Tour title, beating John Isner in the final of the Dallas Open.

Zhang said he hopes he and his countrymen can someday achieve the sort of success Chinese women have accumulated in tennis.

Peng dropped out of public view after making sexual assault accusations against a high-ranking Chinese government official in 2021. The WTA announced soon after that it would suspend all of its tournaments in China, a boycott that was lifted last month.

A gold in an international event in Greece last week has boosted his confidence but top Indian long jumper Murali Sreeshankar on Thursday admitted that he is yet to gain his full rhythm and wants to sort it out soon.

The 24-year-old Sreeshankar on May 24 won gold in International Jumping Meeting at Kallithea near Athens, a Wold Athletics Continental Tour bronze-level competition, with a season’s best jump of 8.18m.

Sreeshankar missed this year’s World Athletics Championships qualifying standard of 8.25m though he has a good chance of qualifying for the showpiece event in Budapest in August. He is currently at the 18th place in World Athletics’ Road to Budapest where 36 athletes will compete in the men’s long jump.

“I have not been able to execute exactly as we planned (in Greece)…I was not quite able to get into my rhythm. I had to keep my approach more in front (as) I was lacking speed. I have to put in more effort getting into the rhythm.”

“Right now my main focus will be to get the rhythm right on the approach, that’s what I’m lacking a bit. We are trying to figure out how I can improve my last phase of the approach and overall rhythm so that I will be able to execute the take-off properly.”

Sreeshankar, who has a personal best of 8.36m, will compete in the Paris Diamond League on June 9, where he will go up against the best athletes from across the globe.

“I had competed in two meets prior (to Greece) as preparatory competitions to check where my body stood at that time. The competitive phase of the season has just started (so) I didn’t quite intend to push hard.

“So, in the next couple of competitions, I think I’ll be able to get into the rhythm better and go for big jumps as I ease my body and mind into a competitive mode,” the athlete from Kerala said.

Sreeshankar, who is supported by Inspire Institute of Sports, said 8.20m was his target in Greece but he failed to hit the mark.

“Usually during competitions, my approach used to move back by around 30 or 40 centimetres but this time around, it came in front like 20-30 centimetres.

“The wind played a major part on the day and this was the first time in Kallithea that we faced a headwind. Usually, we have a good tailwind and the day before when we had the warm-up, the conditions were quite ideal.”

Sreeshankar also spoke about the hectic competitive season ahead.

“This season is pretty challenging because the Asian Games will be happening in the first week of October and the Asian Games qualifiers will take place in the first week of June,” said Sreeshankar, who is coached by his father S Murali, a former South Asian Games medallist in triple jump.
