Former longtime WWE executive and on-and-off in-ring performer, Steve “The Brooklyn Brawler” Lombardi recently appeared as a guest on former WWE broadcast team member Sean Mooney’s “Prime Time” podcast for an in-depth interview.

During the interview, The Brooklyn Brawler recalled working with Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at the world-famous Madison Square Garden arena in New York City.

“His finish is the Superkick if I Superkicked him people would come unglued,” Brooklyn Brawler said. “What a match we had. It was the first Garden show with DX with Chyna and Triple H on the apron on the outside of the ring. Me and Shawn Michaels in Madison Square Garden.”

“I remember The Undertaker walking into the room, into the dressing room and looking at the line-up and it shows me in the main event, he’s underneath me and he goes, ‘what the f–k is this?’ That’s what he said. I just said, ‘it’s not me I didn’t do it!’ Because nobody wants heat with The Undertaker. But I tell ya, my career, you couldn’t even write this the way it happened.”

Brawler continued, “He’s kicking out at two-and-a-half and he’s selling and doing all these crazy moves. I mean he made me look like a million bucks. I’m telling ya and then Triple H jumps on the apron and I pop him, nail him then Chyna comes in and gives me a Frankensteiner. I mean, it was great.”

There have been a lot of updates regarding the lineup for the WWE Extreme Rules 2018 pay-per-view today.

In addition to the PPG Paints Arena announcing Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler and Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens, a new stipulation has been announced for one of the matches.

WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle took to social media today to announce that the aforementioned Rollins vs. Ziggler match will be a 30-minute Iron Man Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

As noted, Taeler Hendrix has gone public with her accusations that her career in Ring Of Honor (ROH) was sabotaged due to turning down sexual advances made by at-the-time (and current) ROH World Champion Jay Lethal a couple of years ago.

In addition to Hendrix commenting on the subject and ROH issuing a statement regarding the matter, Lethal himself has now finally emerged with his own take on the story.

WWE Superstar and co-star of the new USA Network reality show, Miz & Mrs., The Miz, recently spoke with the folks from The Wrap for an interview.

During the discussion, The Miz explained why he has been mentioning he and Maryse’s daughter, Monroe, on WWE television so much as of late.

“We weave our real lives into our WWE live,” said The Miz. “We just look at what’s happening in our lives and what can we do? What’s the most annoying — as a bad guy, as a villain, what’s the thing we can do to make people hate us?”

The Miz continued, “Now, it’s truly wonderful to have a kid. It’s the best gift you could possibly get, but have you ever met those people who just talk about it all day long and it’s just annoying? That’s kind of what I started doing and I was like, ‘This will be fun. I’ll just start talking about it all the time. It’ll be endearing at first, but then it’ll get annoying.”

As noted, Tegan Nox suffered a bad injury during the second night of tapings for this year’s WWE Mae Young Classic 2018 32-woman tournament at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida earlier this week.

The injury happened when Nox landed awkwardly on her leg while executing a dive on opponent Rhea Ripley. She would go down screaming and crying in pain while medics quickly rushed to her aid and helped her to the backstage area.

After the taping, Nox took to social media to issue a statement on the injury and how despite everything that happened, the past two days have been the best experience of her life. Check out the statement via Nox’s official Twitter page below.

“This isn’t how I planned to finish the Mae Young Classic in any shape or form but the last 2 days have been the best experience of my life, despite the obvious! My match with Rhea was something I’ve wanted for a while because, damn that girl is talented (even if she is very moody). Freak accidents happen, it’s part of the job but to hear that she had a killer match with one of the best wrestlers in the world, Io Shirai made my heart swell with happiness.

This is more mentally draining than it is physically but you can guarantee that this isn’t going to keep me down! I have the best friends and support system a girl could ever ask for!

I worked so hard for over a year to be able to compete in this year’s MYC, so you know for a fact, I’m fighting back stronger than ever!

Every message I’ve received tonight on twitter, Facebook, Instagram, text, etc has been absolutely overwhelming! The fact that my hospital room was full of people really warms my heart and honestly meant the absolute world to me! I said it before and I’ll say it again, everything happens for a reason, so no matter what the full extent of this injury is, I’ll be back and I’ll be Shinier than ever.”
