Top contenders The Varsity Blonds will team with Alan “5” Angels and 10 of the Dark Order to take on The Acclaimed and Private Party. The Dark Order and the Hardy Family Office have been feuding in recent weeks while The Acclaimed wants a match against the Blonds in order to take their no. 1 contenders’ spot.
Another featured match will see the Nightmare Family vs. The Factory rivalry continue as Dustin Rhodes will face Aaron Solo (formerly Solow).
Additionally, Thunder Rosa will return to AEW following her failed challenge of Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo at Saturday’s Slammiversary. She has won fifteen straight in AEW.

Comme prévu, les mouvements de joueurs se multiplient au Haillan ces derniers jours après le rachat du club fin juillet par Gérard Lopez. L’ancien président et propriétaire du LOSC avait prévenu, l’effectif doit subir un important lifting cet été. Il s’appuie pour ça sur son directeur technique, Admar Lopes, ancien bras droit de Luis Campos et reconnu pour ses qualités de recruteur hors pair.
Depuis le début du mercato, une dizaine d’éléments ont quitté les Marine et Blanc entre les joueurs en fin de contrat, les joueurs libérés ou prêtés (Sabaly, Carrique, De Préville, Poundjé, Sow, Mandanda, Lauray ou Ben Arfa). Pendant ce temps-là, le club a déjà annoncé l’arrivée de quatre recrues (Mangas, Mensah, Pembélé et Elis). Des jeunes joueurs à fort potentiel qui correspondent parfaitement au projet de trading sur lequel s’appuie Gérard Lopez. Mais surtout les choses vont encore s’accélérer dans les prochaines heures.
Vitinho, le gros coup du mercato ?
Ce mercredi après-midi, Toma Basic va s’engager pour cinq ans avec la Lazio de Rome. Le jeune milieu de terrain croate rejoint l’Italie contre un chèque de 7 millions d’euros (plus un million d’euros de bonus). Les Girondins vont officialiser dans la foulée l’arrivée du milieu brésilien Fransergio pour les trois prochaines saisons (plus une en option). L’ancien joueur de Braga a effectué ce mercredi matin son premier entraînement collectif et devrait pouvoir jouer dès samedi du côté de Nice (17h). Son transfert est évalué à 5 millions d’euros.

Le club devrait également officialiser aujourd’hui ou demain, l’arrivée de Jean Onana comme l’a révélé RMC Sport. Le milieu de terrain arrive du Losc. Il a passé sa visite médicale avec succès mardi après-midi et attend désormais à l’hôtel de signer son contrat. Le club va débourser 2.3 millions d’euros (plus des bonus et un % à la revente) pour s’offrir le Camerounais. Il doit s’engager pour cinq ans selon L’Equipe.
Mais la recrue la plus attendue cette semaine, c’est le Brésilien Vitinho. Le jeune attaquant de 21 ans, encore à l’entraînement avec Paranaense ce mardi, devrait rallier la Gironde d’ici la fin de la semaine. Les Girondins pourraient avoir réalisé l’un des coups de ce mercato que ce soit sur un plan sportif ou financier. Les compliments sont nombreux sur ce dribbleur. Et surtout, le club ne devrait pas dépenser grand-chose pour se l’offrir. Selon les informations de 20 Minutes, Bordeaux devrait simplement payer sa clause de 3 millions d’euros et offrir une belle commission à ses agents. Loin des 10 millions d’euros de transfert évoqués au Brésil.
Admar Lopes attendu sur les départs
Après ces arrivées, Admar Lopes ne devrait pas s’arrêter là. Le directeur technique bordelais cherche encore un défenseur central et surtout un attaquant. Mais pour réussir cela, les Girondins vont devoir vendre avant. Le départ de Yacine Adli vers le Milan AC se fait pour le moment attendre alors que le mercato refermera ses portes mardi à minuit. L’intérêt du club italien n’est peut-être pas aussi fort que les Girondins veulent le faire croire et le joueur ne souhaite pas à tout prix partir. Le milieu de terrain a d’ailleurs montré une toute autre attitude lors du dernier match contre Angers. Autre valeur marchande de l’effectif, Ui-jo Hwang mais le club a posé ses conditions : un transfert au minimum de 10 millions d’euros. Cela en a refroidi certains.
Enfin, les Girondins espèrent obtenir le départ de quelques joueurs en fin de contrat dans un an comme Briand, Bessilé, Benito et Pardo ou avoir des offres pour d’autres joueurs qui ne seront pas retenus (Mexer, Bellanova, Traoré…). Problème le marché reste atone et la question du salaire du joueur reste, lui, souvent une difficulté dans les négociations.

Les choses auraient pu être très différentes pour Hugh Jackman s’il avait suivi son rêve d’enfant. L’acteur avait « neuf ou dix ans » le jour où il a pris l’avion pour la première fois. According to new reports online former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Neville, could be in talks to make a return to WWE in the very near future.
A report by Pro Wrestling Unlimited states that the King Of The Cruiserweights might be in line to return to WWE for the first time in nearly a year with the report stating Neville could return at the upcoming WWE UK Championship event at the Royal Albert Hall.
If this does take place and WWE does create its own UK division, the Geordie wrestler would add some major star power to the show, but it is purely speculation at this point. Neville was part of an exhibition match at the last WWE UK Championship tournament against a debuting Aleister Black prior to the finals taking place and his contract currently remains frozen by the company.
Ted DiBiase Reveals Career Milestone & Discusses Andre The Giant’s Health
WWE Hall Of Famer, Ted DiBiase was recently interviewed by ESPN Charlotte’s The Gerry V Show for a short interview where he revealed the milestones of his career was, “My first WrestleMania, which was WrestleMania 4.”
He also gave a story about Andre The Giant summing up his health issues, which you can read below:
“There were nights that we would walk to the ring and he would put his hand over my shoulder, and to the public, it was like, ‘well, that’s just his partner,’ but he was steadying himself because his back [was so bad], and so I would be the one who was doing most of the bumping and flying around the ring.”

As previously reported, an eight-man tournament has been announced to crown a brand new NWA National Champion, which will take place at the NWA 70th Anniversary pay-per-view on October 21st in Nashville, TN.
The tournament will feature two Fatal 4-Way elimination matches, with the winners of those matches facing off later in the night to crown the new champion. We already know that Evolve and MLW star Mike Parrow will be competing, as well as Ring of Honor’s Scorpio Sky, and former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Colt Cabana.
We can now officially confirm the entire lineup for the upcoming eight-man tournament. The specific competitors in each Fatal 4-Way match will be announced at a later date.

According to a report by the Wrestling Observer, WWE could potentially be interested in signing popular independent wrestler, Joey Ryan.
According to the report, WWE has become interested in Ryan after he announced that he was a free agent due to be let out of his Lucha Underground contract. WWE apparently asked if he would move to Orlando to wrestle in WWE NXT before moving into a coaching position.
Whilst it is unknown if Ryan would take that deal, the report did note that he is very much expected to end up signing with All Elite Wrestling, but he is not under contract with them yet.
It was noted how Ryan earns more money on the indies than he would on an average NXT salary, and that if he was a little younger he would be more likely to take the deal with WWE.
